My network pitch
NBC emailed me the other day asking my opinion about a new TV Network they are launching in the fall. They gave me a list of names, and my job was to tell them how each name made me feel.
It got me thinking... what if I could create my very own network! What would it be called and what shows would I produce? I spoke to my good friend John B., and here's what we came up with:
LOT: A plane headed to LAX time-jumps and crash lands near the remains of Sodom and Gomorrah. Following a mysterious black cloud of smoke across the desert, the survivors of the crash must seek out a man known only by LOT in order to find their way back home. The questions begin this Fall!
THE REAL DOLLHOUSES: A brand-new reality competition that pits wood-cutter against designer to see who can come up with the best looking (and functional) miniature doll house complete with accessories. Watch this fast-paced competition and drama build-up this Summer!

HERES: The sun is forever hidden by a solar eclipse. The world teeters on the brink of chaos. Normal individuals discover superhuman wedding toasting abilities and work together to bring happiness and love throughout the dark world. Raise your glass this Spring.

23: Johan Bauerstein works undercover at the US Department of Agriculture for a rogue PETA cell in Italy. He has 23 hours to take down the entire American cattle infrastructure before "you-know-who" saves the day. Don't miss a single hour this Winter!
Other shows in the works...
- Charles
- Beatlestar Galactica
- The Excellent Race
I suppose the only question left remaining is what do we name the new network station? I'm partial to AWESOME, but maybe you have a better idea?
