My 2010 Christmas list
Every year my friends and family ask what I want for Christmas. I typically purchase the things I want throughout the year because I'm an impulsive buyer, but this year I am holding back ever-so-slightly for the benefit of those around me who enjoy giving gifts.
Listed in no particular order:
- IKEA VRETA Leather Sofa in Mjuk Black: I've needed a couch in my house ever since I moved in over four-years ago. While not having a couch works wonders on dates (only one other place in the house to watch movies), it would be nice to sit back and relax during a Saturday afternoon football game. ($750)
- HEX band for iPod nano in Clear: Okay, so this is more of a Kitsch fashion item, but it could be kinda cool to wear when you're on the go, right? ($25)
- Telltale Games's "Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent": A fun little adventure-puzzle game (think Professor Layton) that plays on the PC or Mac. I tried out the demo and was impressed! ($10)
- iSkin solo case for iPhone 4 in Carbon (translucent black): The iSkin solo was my absolute FAVORITE case for my old 3GS, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I heard they were coming out with a similar case for the iPhone 4 earlier this month. ($30)
- The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (Hardcover) by Stieg Larsson: I read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and I'm more than halfway done with The Girl Who Played with Fire. I LOVE this series; it's just a shame the author won't be writing any more books.
- LEGO's "Fallingwater" Architectural Set: Not gunna lie... I love LEGO's. This set is fairly challenging and looks great on display. It's a replica of the real-world architectural landmark Fallingwater designed by Frank Lloyd Write in 1934. ($100)
- SENZ Original Umbrella in Black: This thing is amazing. It can withstand up to 70 MPH winds and looks sleek to boot. It's made by a company in the Netherlands, so you have to purchase it from Amazon.com or the like if you want it delivered to the States. ($50)
So there you have it! Feel free to talk amongst yourselves and I promise I'll be surprised come Dec. 25th!
